Croda International unveiled new data on Cithrol 10GTIS that addresses and meets consumer needs for pollution protection. According to the company, Cithrol 10GTIS now offers high-performance removal of particulate matter in addition to its already proven cleansing performance. Launched in 2015, Cithrol 10GTIS has already been proven to be a highly effective mild surfactant allowing for the formulation of ever more popular advanced facial oil cleansers that have ideal benefits for sensitive skin, ideal sensory characteristics and easy rinsability, said the company. To meet the need for pollution protection cleansing, Croda has recently conducted extensive in-vitro pollution cleansing tests on a Cithrol 10GTIS based oil cleanser against different market leading benchmark formulations. In each test, the oil cleanser containing Cithrol 10GTIS outperformed all benchmark and control formulations, effectively removing significantly more particulate matter after rinsing. Cithrol 10GTIS not only creates high performance facial cleansers that are mild and gentle with highly effective cleansing properties, Croda’s new data reveals that it is also now proven to remove pollution particles from the skin leaving it clean, renewed and soft to the touch, said Croda. In other news, Croda has developed a new surfactant in its Diversaclean product line to make easy work of tough soils. According to the company, the Diversaclean products are composed of readily biodegradable surfactant blends that offer excellent wetting, low surface tension and powerful degreasing performance. Croda has now launched its latest product in the Diversaclean line. Diversaclean CS is a caustic stable nonionic surfactant blend designed for industrial and institutional applications or general hard surface cleaning. This optimized blend of alkylpolyglucoside (APG) and alcohol alkoxylate surfactants results in improved cleaning and wetting over APG on its own, yet maintains the alkaline stability and green profile of the sugarbased APG. Croda continues to develop products that meet increasingly challenging performance standards, yet remain environmentally sustainable with high efficiency. This blend boosts wetting and cleaning performance versus APG alone, while maintaining alkaline stability. Applications range from ready-to-use glass cleaners to concentrated caustic formulations.
